Introduction to Sustainability is a one-day overview that includes a variety of interactive sessions to provide participants with an understanding of sustainability and the application of its core content, competencies, and habits of mind that characterize Education for a Sustainable Future. (EFS).  This workshop is a wonderful precursor to a more in-depth course, or works as a stand-alone introduction to sustainability. It includes the following: indicators, systems thinking simulation, common pool resources, economic models, natural laws and principles, “upstream problem identification” game, systems thinking tools.
