The Cloud Institute partners with The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation

In April 2006, The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation made a second donation of $7,500 in support of our work with Unity Charter School in Morristown, NJ. These funds are supporting the professional development of staff at the school, whose vision is to “be a leader by example and a catalyst for change in education and in ecological and societal sustainability.”

Jaimie P. Cloud Appears on "30 Days"

The Cloud Institute's President, Jaimie P. Cloud, appeared on a recent episode of FX's new series entitled "30 Days." The show, hosted by Morgan Spurlock (of "Super Size Me" fame), features a couple living "off the grid" in an experimental eco-village for a month. This episode aired Wednesday, July 13th.

The Bay and Paul Foundations support "Inventing the Future"

In March 2006 The Cloud Institute received a $10,000 grant award in support of our Inventing the Future: Leadership and Participation for the 21st Century program in New York City. "Inventing the Future" is a semester-long Government course that inspires students to invent their own future as active and effective members and leaders of their communities.
